Pros

The culture and values that Axis lives by is far beyond any other company I have ever worked for. Great benefits- every employee goes to Sweden within their first year. Everyone at Axis shares the same love and passion for this industry, and they really take their time to make sure they hire the right people! I LOVE AXIS!

Cons

I have no complaints about Axis!

Pros

Amazing company culture. Employees have tons of resources and support to accomplish their business tasks as well as for personal development. Employees are encouraged to invest in themselves and Axis invest in them also! They offer a great benefits package with good 401K, great health care, and very generous PTO. They encourage people to take time off and balance the work-life appropriately. The culture is very encouraging for people to think outside of the box to help the company grow. If you see a way to impact change and improve things, managers are all ears and supportive in helping you tackle that task.

Cons

There is a saying called 'Axis busy.' It will be common for people to be given a lot of work. Even more, you are encouraged to chase things if you see a benefit which (for some) can mean taking on additional work. This can burn some people out so it is important to know it is OK to have mental health time and to check out. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Axis has a lot of opportunities for people starting out and plenty of opportunities as they are growing rapidly. One challenge is that some departments have less growth opportunity than others, simply by their size/structure. The HR team is working to find ways to adjust this but it is the case right now. As with many companies, the higher you go, the less positions there are to have.
