Revolving Door

Pros

Opportunities for overtime and co-workers are great.

Cons

Revolving door for management. Several DOOs, Production Managers, ect have come and gone in 5 years. Attendance Policy is wack. Refuses to accept doctor's or hospital notes and requires FMLA for medical coverage if you don't have PTO.

Pros

New hires, my best advice is to unionize and stay aligned for better pay. The contract is ending soon! Do not sign it until you can all agree for MORE PAY. Pros - Good company culture, supportive management, perks, excellent health insurance, union ucfw, EXCELLENT retirement plan and 401k. This was the first job where I felt truly supported when dealing with inappropriate or aggressive customers. Management addressed issues head-on with formal reports and ALWAYS had my back. Work life balance was great for me, I got plenty of time off to go to doc appts and to go to 2 weddings in one year. However, the leads had a strict schedule from what I heard.

Cons

Tech systems were messy: Dutchie was disorganized, loyalty programs often glitched, and corporate changes every few months created instability and customer frustration. Inventory issues and CRC policies hurt sales, ancillary was chaotic, and popular products often weren’t restocked during peak hours. Overall, great coworkers, strong benefits, and a supportive environment, but constant corporate shifts hurt morale and customer trust, and the tech systems need major work. Lots of favoritism and cliques as well, but that's every job.
