Pros
I worked for them at Abdul Aziz Air Force Base in Saudi Arabia 4/20/13-1/31/16 teaching Saudi Air Force cadets English. The pay was okay, the place they put us to live, Oasis compound was good. Nice compound, swimming polls indoor and out, sports building small stores really good food on the compound. We had a fleet of cars we shared. There were 10 weeks vacation, one vacation they paid the air fare. One year after I won teacher of the quarter award Bobby Chapman the CEO let me go home for Christmas even though this was not a holiday. The Saudi staff were mostly okay, could be hard to deal with sometimes. The real problem was teaching low level students who were hard to manage and did not care. If they had not lost the contract to Blue Force I would still be there.
Cons
A little low pay for a defense contractor, but equal or more than most universities. The Students were tough and this caused some turnover. Living and working in Saudi can be tough it's not for everybody. The senior Saudi staff, not the guys I worked with directly were unrealistic and held the program back. Some of this of course was cultural.
