Pros
Employees are well treated. There is interesting work if you're in the right place, although some projects have long and tedious lifecycles. There is also a lot of support for development, training, and getting chartered. Flexi-time is fantastic.
Cons
There isn't much vibrancy in the work force. Some projects are quite slow moving. Engineers perhaps not paid as well as they should be given that we are responsible for developing the products that are sold to customers. This is reflected in the age and motivation levels of many of the engineers. Also everything is very process driven, and this can make quite simple tasks much more difficult than they need to be.
