Pros

Absorbed market knowledge around cyber, fraud and security leveraging the parent company in London. Met a few great people that I worked with whom I will keep in touch with.

Cons

Chaotic environment and lack of strategy, structure and process for a large $50 billion dollar company as their parent. Went through 3 presidents in 12 months with constant change and lack of support infrastructure. Dishonest and unprofessional management teams which trickles down...Not transparent in the interview process and no HR to speak of to answer any questions throughout the duration. Constant finger pointing and lack of accountability. There was mass exodus across all business functions and the company does a good job to force "good" people to leave.

Very poor experience so far

Pros

Extremely talented co-workers, good technical work. Great flexibility to work from home as well as flexibility in timings

Cons

No chances of any promotions and culture is often non-existent. The few places and teams where there is culture is toxic. Lot of lifers who have some seriously big egos and attitudes. If you are their yes man or woman, you can go places, if you stand up against them, expect horrible reviews and complaints against you. Some really senior folks have no clue what is happening in the trenches

Please beware of BAE AI

Pros

The pay was good that's about it.

Cons

When I started with BAE AI, I had high hopes from the conversations I was having with the team. Those conversations soon turned into false promises as I fell into the rabbit hole. I truly feel like I wasted a year of my life while working there. From surviving layoffs 3 months into the job, not having a manager for 4 months and no manager direction for 7 months. The direction the company is taking in the US is truly a self destructive one. It is obvious that the company favored their UK region over the US from the way they interacted with us and the lack of support. Training in the UK is easily available for their team while in the US, I was told that I would have NO SUPPORT for my CORPORATE laptop and couldn't even get a replacement laptop charger. Upon changing management, I was placed under an UNRELATED area in the company with zero career conversations with new manager. Career Development and growth does not exist here. All this could've been overlooked if I had work to actually do. Due the the lack of sales, that left me with rarely any customer work to do. I was left to fend for myself as far as development and I can't believe I was there for even a year. When it was time to leave, I couldn't even leave in peace. Within my last week, I went to an appointment for them to tell me that my benefits was cancelled. This was a shock to me since I was still employed by BAE AI. It wasn't until several days later I was told "Oh, we change the providers" and wasn't even informed! Where is the communication?!? Everyone please beware before going with BAE AI (In the US Region) In conclusion, the main problems with this company is: - Lack of support - Lack of management support - Lack of leadership - Communication - Lack of career development
