      Pros

      If you're in the market for a job in the defense industry this is the kind of place you might consider. It's not at big as the top three but still has many opportunities and most of the same benefits and competitive pay. Off Fridays a.k.a. the 9/80 schedule is great.

      Cons

      The company has downsized a lot within the last five years, largely due to the defense budget. Also many jobs have been subcontracted out to other companies.

      Variety of engineering work on offer

      Cons

      Lot's of top down cumbersome and ineffective process. Upper management, in Australia and the UK but less so in the USA, is still very much tied the 'command and control' model of management. They need to listen to the people they employed with skills more.

      There are a lot of job opportunities all over the world. I have found the work to be very challenging and there are opportunities for growth.

      Cons

      The company benefits package has decreased over the last three years. The health insurance is overpriced compared to individual plans.
