      So So Place to work

      Pros

      Every other Friday off is nice. There is a 9/80 work week. There is still a pension (maybe). Compensation is OK.

      Cons

      Not a friendly place. Priorities change like the wind. Benefits continue to degrade each year. Upper management tries to communicate but it is limited to quaterly presentations by upper management. Middle management does not want to bother with communications. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

      A place to retire

      Pros

      It's a good place to retire at if you can manage to survive the first 5 years, salary is good compare to other engineering firms, not much pressure from quality and marketing

      Cons

      Too much politics, technologies are out dated, process are not properly documented

      Pros

      The 8/9/80 work schedule is nice and lets you get every other friday off by working 9 hours a day Flex time pension paid overtime

      Cons

      Training budget has been cut and it used to be pretty liberal. Now you must be in a degree program to get 100% tuition reimbursement, including books.
