Pros

It's all about the people - and at the Endicott facility, most employees - and nearly all management - are wonderful to work with. It's a hard-working, but generally low-stress culture, where making the right decision is rewarded, and short-sighted decisions are rare. Contractors are treated like real people, as well. Traffic is zero, and there is a huge variety of outdoor activities within 45 minutes.

Cons

Being part of a huge company offers a lot of security and opportunity, but also comes with bureaucracy and inefficiency. Decisions made at the corporate level can make little sense at a local level. Endicott/Binghamton is a small city, so don't expect a metropolis.

Pros

9/80 work schedule; free parking.

Cons

Inept, poorly qualified, vindictive leadership; hostile environment to employees who don't completely support the "party line"; organization run by mid-level people who have been there forever; no support whatsoever for people who bring different approaches or new ideas; no concern with following Government rules and regulations; terrible morale; silent, sullen, disengaged employees, etc.

Pros

Good benefits are definitely a plus and who doesn’t like the 9/80 work schedule!

Cons

Because we’re growing so fast managers are constantly being added. Many of them promoted simply to fill positions. They have no experience in managing or mentoring people nor do they have the leadership skills that are needed to build strong teams. Training is non existent for new employees and even employees that move from one function to another. We do very poorly at this.
