      Pros

      A lot of the people are very kind and well meaning. I found that most of my co-workers were helpful and cheerful.

      Cons

      Upper Management are very elitist, very conceited, and the overall directive of the company is malicious and not in the publics best interest.

      Pros

      "Do the right thing" is a prevalent attitude across the business. 9/80 work schedule is very beneficial, friendly management who are open to discuss issues (at times), supports good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Underpays by 5% by estimation-while expecting 10% more effort, paid overtime doesn't include the first 5 hours-which adds up over a year of working more than 40 hours each week. Too much emphasis on service time as a qualification, age does not imply talent or wisdom. IT services are garbage and far behind the times and the competition (ironic for a tech company).

      Worst job I've ever had!

      Pros

      I worked in I&S division. Colleagues were great as were folks I met in Land & Armament and Electronic Systems. Pay was decent.

      Cons

      Management is awful. Has no clue on how to win business. Leadership is non existent. Completely risk-adverse to the point of failure. Hasn't won a substantial new contract in years. Backstabbing is the #1 activity in Reston and McLean. It's why DeMuro put I&S up for sale but nobody wanted it.
