Pros

BASF is truly progressive and interested in finding and implementing sustainable solutions for many urgent global issues. The company is interested in hiring the brightest and most driven employees who are going to continue to work to improve themselves and the company.

Cons

Employees must be willing to learn new things and change positions (possibly moving to new locations) in order to grow. There is a strong push to promote from within, but a particular position is unlikely to change in title as in the traditional sense of "getting a promotion."

Pros

Some good products. Some good people. Good vacation benefits for long term employees. Good health insurance. Good 401K plan

Cons

Very much a dictorial culture that stifles creativity. Also a lot of corporate bullying from regional and district managers in the agricultural division. They let the people that do this get by with it time after time.

Pros

Good salaries and benefits. Working on work life balance although not completely there for all.

Cons

They do not hold poor managers accountable for lack of management and employee development. HR backs theses managers even when wrong.
