      Great benefits, no career advancement for Bacelor's in Chemistry

      Pros

      Pays for continuing education that could pertain to BASF, Great Health Insurance & 401K, Vacation time is also good

      Cons

      People that have tenure there with hardly any education have the same job and get paid more than college grads with Chemistry & Biology Bachelor's degree. They will pay for you to get an MBA but never give you the opportunity to get a business job or progress. The pay is not very good. Most of the lab techs with tenure have no common sense and even though you out perform them, you get no credit and they refuse to fire the lazy, uneducated lab techs that screw everything up and add no value.

      Pros

      Very competative pay across industry with a market sector that is still making a profit and offers job security into the future. Some jobs will allow you flex time, good bonus, and a shot at advancement.

      Cons

      Poor working environement, no work life balance, caveman management philosphy that reflects back on how we treated people back in the 70's, benefits and policy vary widely from bussiness unit
