Pros

Very good benefit package, thorough training, lots of incentives, great enviornment. Very comfortable workplace, value oriented company make sure employees convey the values the company is based on.

Cons

Supervisors and Team Leads show favortism, this is not reflective of the company but rather the people that the company promote to these positions.

Pros

- Benefits (pension and 401k) - Great HR department

Cons

- Annual Performance plans 2% raise if a Very Good Performer? PATHETIC - Very low pay compared to other places - Terrible management - Managers are worked to death- averaged 12 hour days and worked Saturdays - Conference calls- how about work smarter, not harder? If you want sales performance, dont tie your employees up on a conference call that is pointless - No recognition - Managers who get recognized work in branches where everything gets handed to them - Dont work for the retail side - Senior management is selfish and wont promote you to a job you want if they want you to stay where you are. - Some how confidential conversations go public and all of the employees find out - managements lack of professionalism is hidden in the professional dress they want their employees to wear (panty hose? Seriously?... its 90 degrees outside)... - Overall..... they need new management- its important for employees to see that you care about your family as much as you care about your job....

Pros

The benefits are wonderful, and of course working 8:30-5:15 was amazing. BB&T really is a great company, and they promote women really well on the retail side. If you are a great performer you will make great incentives and they definitely notice.

Cons

VERY male dominated. Anyone with a salary about 50000 is a male. Also BB&T pays horribly, I recently started with another bank making 10k more. Also being a RB doesn't provide much opportunity for advancement in other banks because you won't have any credit experience.
