Pros

Generally good employees, clients are helpful most of the time, it's not a terribly difficult job, easy to understand training, pay is decent

Cons

Short staff, too worried about referrals/sales goals for tellers, quality of branch depends on your teller supervisor and sometimes manager

Pros

BB&T has great benefits, health, 401K, vacation time. Generally you are supported if you follow the guidelines. Don't bend the rules to please a customer without getter supervisor approval because they will hold you accountable if you bend the rules and everything is tracked by your employee number.

Cons

Nothing negative except sometimes you can get an odd manager who treat employees as just cogs in the machine, most managers have good people skills. You have to tough it out , the mgr usually gets transferred.

Pros

GREAT leadership - competent, fair, structured. Johnson is one of the better CIO's in banking. Strong Senior Team. Lots of respect and mutual trust. Plenty of money and re-investment in the IT shop.

Cons

Sporadic travel between Wilson, Raleigh, Winston, Charlotte... not bad at at all,
