      Pros

      BB&T offers a comprehensive benefits package. They recognize the importance of balancing family and careers. BB&T is well respected by insurance carriers and therefore has the ability to offer clients coverages and services that a client may not be able to enjoy with other agencies.

      Cons

      The inability to adequately staff insurance offices. BB&T has a lot of great ideas on value added services. With added staff it would be easier to provide these services to the clients. Being owned by a bank causes the insurance side to have to comply with rules and regulations that are not necessarily placed on other insurance competitors.

      BB&T offers a comprehensive benefits package. They also recognize the importance of balancing family and careers. In addition they are an equal opportunity employer. In addition BB&T cares about their customers and works very hard to be the Best of the Best with their clients.

      Cons

      Inability to hire staff as needed. Uses the wrong guages to determine whether insurance offices are adequately staffed or not.

      Pros

      good atmosphere to work in. not too hard. just do your work and be on top of things. make sure you follow up with all of your customers and keep in touch. work hard and get rewarded for your hard work.

      Cons

      sometimes very slow and boring. not always the most challenging work in the world. not many people at the branch so it can get boring at times. having to deal with the obnoxious customers that come in with problems. they expect you to magically fix everything on the spot. many are very unhappy and you can't do anything about it.
