      Great company, horrible department

      Pros

      The people at BDA are pretty great, with a mix of young and older, more experiened within all levels. Also, you never know what your day will hold and that keeps you on your toes.

      Cons

      For many operations roles, BDA is not likely to promote from within, which has been proven time and time again. They recently just hired a supervisor position from the outside when there were qualified internal candidates. We don't have a say when big chances come up that impact our jobs. I could go on, but will leave it at that.

      Pros

      A good place to gain experience if you are a recent college graduate. Offers medical, dental & 401K. Offers vacation / sick pay. Offers bonuses to some employees. BDA is supportive of charities. BDA does have some fun events.

      Cons

      Very disorganized! Too much work for too little compensation. The employees are spread too thin leading to a large amount of overtime. Too many managers that walk around and micro-manage. Poor communication from higher up's to support staff. This leads to poor attitudes and less production. Higher up's and other employees are allowed to abuse support staff without consequence.

      Pros

      If you are a seasoned pro in the industry, this is a good place to work. Their reputation is stellar.

      Cons

      If you are coming in to sales and are given no accounts, it may take a very long time (or never) to land any that will produce income for you.
