Cons

No work-life balance: My experience at the company has been characterized by a lack of balance between my professional responsibilities and personal life. I often find myself working late into the evenings and weekends, struggling to keep up with the demands of the job while sacrificing time with my family and for personal activities. Says one thing, does the other thing: Despite the company's assurances of prioritizing employee well-being and fostering a supportive work environment, I've frequently encountered instances where management's actions have contradicted these stated values. This inconsistency has led to feelings of disillusionment and mistrust among employees. Purely politics: Throughout my time at the company, I've observed that decision-making processes are heavily influenced by internal politics rather than objective criteria or merit. This has created an atmosphere of favoritism and unfair treatment, where career advancement seems contingent upon personal relationships rather than performance. Promotion based on closeness to management rather than merit: My observations suggest that promotions within the company are often granted to individuals who are perceived to be in the inner circle of management, rather than based on their skills or contributions. This realization has been disheartening and demotivating, as it undermines the principles of fairness and meritocracy. Managers are power trippers: In my interactions with certain managers, I've experienced a pattern of authoritarian behavior and power-tripping tendencies. These individuals seem more focused on exerting control and dominance over their subordinates rather than fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Delayed or inconsistent payment of incentives: On several occasions, I've encountered delays in receiving promised incentives or bonuses, causing financial stress and uncertainty. Despite assurances of timely compensation, explanations for these delays have been vague and unsatisfactory, further eroding trust in the company's integrity. Too much work for inadequate compensation: My workload at the company has consistently exceeded reasonable expectations, yet compensation and recognition for my efforts have not been commensurate. This imbalance has left me feeling undervalued and overworked, with little motivation to continue giving my best effort. Appraisals based on politics rather than performance: During performance evaluations, I've noticed a trend where personal relationships and office politics carry more weight than actual job performance. This realization has been frustrating, as it undermines my confidence in the fairness and objectivity of the appraisal process.
