Pros

You can learn with no previous experience in the field

Cons

Too many relatives, and a lot of them are slackers or have no people skills. There are no written manuals on using the system, there is no continuity between parts of the system on what each key does and changes are made without telling you what they are. User testing sucks,. One day you just go in to do your job and get rejects or fields pop up and you are frozen with no way of getting out.

Pros

Great place as an entry level job. You will learn how to do a lot with very little including outdated technology that fails daily. You will learn how to stretch yourself thin and have management say things will get better but see no better especially in pay. All in all, you will learn some great skills

Cons

Very little opportunity for career advancement. They will try to convince you to stay and say you have a bright future with the company. That bright future is remaining a low level employee for as long as they can help it. Don't expect a decent increase yearly. Management will tell you all year how the economy is effecting the company and in the same breath say the company is in a healthy place and doing much better financially than the previous year (they've been saying this since 2020 ) There's not enough money for a reasonable pay increase and fixing technology used daily but there is enough money for everything else. When employees say they stay for the people, they really mean it. Immediate Management is terrible (not completely their fault - upper management constraint]s them and you can tell) Do not go to HR for any complaints against management. They are not on the employees side but they do a good job at pretending. They are there to protect the company and it's appearance. By employees, I mean MSAs, Team Leads & Coordinators.

Pros

My coworkers are the reason I have not left this job yet.

Cons

1) We are constantly told in our annual State of the Union that we had our Best Year Ever, but employees are not rewarded for their efforts in making it, "The Best Year Ever." 2) You can be the hardest working employee, but you will get the same annual raise as someone who skates by. 3) BDP does not pay what you are worth. Many of the higher performing members of the team will leave within 2 years once they find out other companies will pay significantly more with less stress. 4) Everyone is burnt out. The past several years have taken a toll on the employees.
