Great people to know and meet. Staff really do care

Cons

Support teams have the we are better than you attitude and make work difficult. Lots of not me in the senior staff attitude and failure to follow up. Some are borderline abusive to junior staff.

Pros

The culture and people that work for BECU is phenomenal. They have outstanding benefits. The company's values are easy to gey behind and make me feel good about being one of the team.

Cons

They hire new employees that may have less experience at a higher rates than the tenured employees are making. When questioned about this, BECU claims its because of the difference in pay structure calculations between current employees and new employees. I feel unvalued. The development path is frustrating at the least. BECU boasts the ability to advance as long as you meet andyor exceed expectations and stick around long enough and show people that you have what it takes. I've seen quite the opposite happen, at least in my department.
