- Flat hierarchy, no form of promotion to next level even for star performers - A large part of entertaining is pegged to one's performance. Bosses strongly encourage bringing the traders out for lavish dinners and drinks, a lot of sleaze involved. - Year end bonuses issued out in the form of employee options/stocks, when monetary incentives are always preferred. These stocks are not movable when employee leaves company WIN-WIN for company.

- No growth potential - Hardly get to interact with people outside group or learn anything new - No body in group know anything about business. We program software we don't understand a thing about. - Software group is greatly un-appriciated and treated as underdogs - bad bonus and no salary hikes - crapy benfits; bad medical insurance and no 401k match - no job security; way too many people get laid off all year long
