I truly wanted this to be a good experience and this review comes with a heavy heart to share wisdom. I came in with the ambition to get started and was given the tools to succeed. It was not until after the course was it mentioned that before they hire you off to a company, you have to work through BG for at least 240 hours with lower pay and no commission. Be prepared to know that this is a committment that you're willing to make (which isn't a con in all actuality). The timing of such was definitely of a sales minset to get you in through the door in my opinon. What got me the most on this con was my poor working relationship with my staffing manager that I could not seem to ameliorate. I expressed intent to apply for another position with BG (which was the initial intent- and it became available) only to have my requests ignored when requesting any follow up (by staffing manager and by lack of call back from another member within the company). When I realized that the placement could not meet my needs, I was ignored with no response. I would only receive texts from them regarding things they needed, or what seemed to be cut and paste responses, IN CAPS ONLY VIA TEXT, THAT DIDN'T ENTIRELY ANSWER THE ORIGNIAL QUESTION. The only time I was acknowledged was when asked if I arrived on property and when I sent my resignation in. I felt as a mere pawn to staffing quotas and I was not going to be moved to a property to better fit my needs (not wants). It was sink for myself or cut ties with the position. It was with a heavy heart that I had to separate ties. It was a shame that the property I was working with was indirectly affected by this company politics. You are your own best advocate in this company.
