Pros

Laid back. Half day Fridays. If you're good you will rise through the ranks.

Cons

They hired a bunch during 2020 and since then every senior level person has left for greener pastures. Senior leadership has all been there for 15-20 years but everyone else is less than 2. Every week another skilled person is leaving. There's not a lot of market to cap in this industry and I think everyone is seeing the limits of what is attainable. After seeing what remote work will pay I can't imagine any good IT worker settling for these salaries. It would be an easy gig if IT teams weren't fighting each other all the time.

Pros

The internal culture and central pillars of the company are sound. The EVA bonus as a method of sharing the success, performance, and as an incentive is a good system that the company stands behind. Benefits are comparable to any mid-size company in the area. It does an excellent job of vetting and hiring top talent; people are its strength.

Cons

The first thing a technical employee needs to understand is that it is a marketing company that sells products designed and developed by large suppliers outside of North America (with the exception of cleaning formulations); they are not structured like other product OEMs (the ratio of technical or engineering roles is low when contrasted to business and marketing positions). Being in a technical role can be very frustrating as the company choses to pivot often which does not allow it to gain a return on its engineering assets or build on work done. "Process" is also considered a bad word given some internal history and therefore it suffers from operational efficiency issues when trying to develop new products.
