      Pros

      Some of the smartest most compassionate people work in administration in this organization. Affiliation with Wash U School of Medicine allows BJC to do things other systems can’t.

      Cons

      Woefully behind. No strategy. VERY VERY Slow to act but yet we all work a million hours a week playing catch up with the rest of the market. Over worked and underpaid is a theme.

      It's an organization that offers great opportunities for employees because of its size and multiple locations. And, it's great to work for an organization that does so much good for so many.

      There really aren't any negatives. It's all about what you make of the opportunity.

      Pros

      I enjoyed some of my coworkers and the patients. I like BJC, it was the management in my specific department that was the problem.

      Cons

      Management was terrible. They lied constantly, didn't communicate, and had zero clue as to what our job entailed. They didn't even know safety policies for their own department, and had no interest in finding out what they were when we asked. My manager threw me under the bus for refusing to violate a safety policy.
