Pros

Amazing people to work with!

Cons

The company is going through a big change moving to their new Helix platform. They do not put the customer first and make big changes that have them losing customers. Marketing is extremely behind the competition. This would all be ok, but the lack of accountability from leadership is scary.

When I was hired, they were incredibly open to remote work, but then a new CMO, Nick Utton came on board who was very old-fashioned and remote work hires were discouraged and targeted for layoffs - he lasted 3 years and left. Luckily and remote work is embraced again.

Cons

The constant layoffs were brutal. I've spent 20 + years in high tech but never experienced it as bad as there in my time at BMC from 2014 - 2017. It was extremely demoralizing. There occurred twice a year. Sometimes they were small and concentrated but the rumors and fear were exhausting. I finally had to leave because it was extremely stressful and depressing. Also, constant upper executive-level changes -
