      Great culture, very sales focused Very few egos compared to other places I've worked Everyone willing to go the extra mile and do what's right for the customer Products are tightly integrated and getting better over time, customers view this as an architecture and want to do it in their organizations BMC IT organization very willing to share experience and best practices with potential customers Great partners

      Pros

      Large company that offers decent salary. Well-known name, current technologies.

      Cons

      Beware: Unbelievably restrictive non-compete for non-executive (i.e., "general worker") employees. The non-compete (that everyone must sign) is written so that the employee who signs it cannot work as the same "title" anywhere in the world--not just the US. This was confirmed by a very expensive employment law attorney, and it's enforceable if you work in Texas. What company makes a low-level business analyst, technical writer, or a administrative assistant sign a document like this? It's almost unheard of.
