Like Lots of Work?

Pros

Nice campus. Many perks, like free cokes, soups, dinners at quarter close, dry cleaners. Good benefits

Cons

Way too much overtime expected. When quarter-close or year-end close comes up, be prepared to work 18 hour days. And yes, they do feed you dinner for your efforts. The most frustrating part was that OT was mainly for 'face time" and the job really didn't require that amount of time, it was all about being seen at your desk. Environment of martyrs to see who could work the longest hours. No pay raises even budgeted, bonuses were ok but didn't make up for the lack of raises and overtime.

- We are like a family - good relationship with peers and team - Stable company - Company invest in the people - fun event, giveaways etc. - BMC invest in the Israeli site - Normal working hours

Cons

- Location in Tel-Aviv - lots of traffic most of the day -

Big Brother Oppression

Pros

You get health insurance and a salary so you don't starve. It is possible to make a lot of money

Cons

The pay is in line with senior positions but management treats everyone like they are barely a high school grad - constantly monitoring how many emails, cold calls, appointments have transpired. This is for everyone - day 1 employee and 5 year veteran who consistently exceeded quota. Lots of issues with the products and the majority of time was spent putting out fires rather than selling. Lots of partner products who come in and give the field sales force the high level value props and objection handling then "hit the phones" and re-huddle with results. Then you will never hear of that product for another 6 months because a new cold call mercenary campaign is in the door for the next week. You can make a lot of money but you will be miserable. Never seen any company culture even remotely as oppressive.
