      Pros

      The benefits and holiday packages are good. The vacation package was good but policy changed this year for new employees decreasing this benefit.

      Cons

      Promotions are entirely based upon how long you have worked at the company and who you know. Promotions are not in any way based upon your abilities or hard work. There is absolutely no training program of any sort for the employees. Technology is extremely old and obsolete, I was using virtually the same software/equipment 20 years ago in another bank.

      Pros

      Good life/work balance. Flexible schedule.

      Cons

      Really bad communication with Management. Company went thru a merger and Management didn't know how to deal with anything and was blaming employees all the time, letting people go and asking employees to step down. This position also includes a lot of HR duties that you don't receive training for and are expected to know.

      Pros

      Some of the best co-workers I have worked with. Also, great customers and clients to work with as they are open to ideas and meeting with staff.

      Cons

      A company that has a long rich history, but run in to the ground by poor lending decisions. These decisions resulted in "talking points" from management for the rank/file to explain to customers.
