Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback and this review. Your comments are appreciated and valued. BOKF works hard to promote a positive work environment and a culture that embraces all of our values. We are glad this is the case for you!

Pros

Extremely creative HR Department leading "culture change" and posting fake Glassdoor reviews in September of last year. BOK attracts, promotes and celebrates the highest caliber of narcissists in the industry. An exciting environment of promotion and demotion roulette - you never know where your review will take you!

Cons

Working at BOK was one of the most disheartening experiences I have had in my career. BOK might be Dr. Laurence Peter's most perfect example of of the Peter Principle - each inept manager in Wealth has been promoted to the level of utter incompetence and in this role they thrive. Incompetence is allowed to thrive without check (unless a regulator catches it) and ends up creating headache and clean up for mid-level employees after the fact. Frat bro managers must have been too hungover to attend basic business classes theorizing on the concept of hard vs. soft dollar. Management in wealth removed resources, constantly rolled out incomplete projects (Black Diamond) and then bestowed time-intensive clean ups to those responsible for handling the day-to-day client facing roles. Decisions made disregard the input of the employees doing the work and it comes at a cost: that of the client. The costs are then coupled with pour service. I believe the "Private" Wealth recipe for success coming from Tulsa is 'Increased Cost + Decrease in Service = Satisfied Wealth Relationship'. As the largest shareholder continues to exit, the only way to keep the stock price up will be to continue to cut cost. However, without organic growth (and the talent to insight said growth) the company will remain as it always has - a mildly profitable, lower tier bank that will never truly "compete with Goldman" (a capability touted by the Chief Investment Strategist) but only other regional banks.

Thank you for your review and offering feedback. At no point in BOK Financial’s history have we ever posted fake reviews. This is against Glassdoor’s terms and conditions. All our reviews are 100% authentic. Glassdoor is a mechanism current and former employees can use to review us and its content is relied upon by millions of people to help make important decisions about their life and career. We value the integrity and validity of this resource and welcome all feedback. While we are disappointed to hear that you did not experience the working dynamic as you had hoped and one that we strive to promote, we wish you well with your future endeavors.

Pros

Like the job,love the clients.

Cons

Very toxic environment for the less favorable. Management speaks and acts differently to the unfavorable. BOKF loves to write you up and put you on probation, I have never had a boss that never says good job, thanks for the hard work or some kind of encouragement. In fact i have only been insulted and when I do good I am not told at all. Majority of employees have several write ups and or probation. Can not go to management for anything unless you want to be written up or belittled and insulted. This creates stress and anxiety. Management brings family issues to work which get passed down to the unfavorable..Favorable are excused for the majority of errors. Favorable will get a different outcome for similar situations. Not all are treated fairly. Some employees are spoken to differently,if your on the wrong side you get short and annoyed answers and no help or insulted first and ridiculed then help after. This creates a difficult learning environment. Nothing is private co workers are told of employee errors and frustration of management. My job has been a miserable environment. I pray daily that it will change. I doubt I will be with the company much longer the threats of losing my job have increased. Just blown away that this goes on, Cant go to HR. HR is not for the employees its for the company and management only.
