Pros

You get bank holidays although they take several 3 day weekends a year from IT personnel to accomplish DR events. Recently gone causal at the BTC where most IT are.

Cons

You will most likely work a tremendous amount of hours without much reward as they run extremely lean on the number of employees. They rarely fully implement large applications to their fullest potential so lots of things like Asset Management and other ITIL needs are non existent. Management is mostly nice but scared of recent security changes which were implemented poorly, fast, and with almost no guidelines or documented “rules” and management is to scared to push back and fight for employees now. So worklife balance is bad and you really have little backup if something gets questioned.
