      Your Experience Really Depends on Who You Report To

      Pros

      Internal mobility is a top priority. Training and development is offered in many formats and there if you ask for it. There are some incredibly smart people who are dedicated to the success of the bank. The benefits are comparable to other companies, not phenomenal and not horrible. Great 401K, the longer you stay the more they pay. The bank really cares about and supports local communities.

      Cons

      There are levels of management from Director to mid level that are awful, toxic and bring the culture and people down. The bank is not quick to replace them. A lot of them are long-term legacy employees. The bank is not as well known in all markets. A lot of technology is not up to date and what other more progressive companies offer. The bank is behind in a lot of areas when it comes to diversity and inclusion. Certain managers have actively held people back when they've interviewed for other roles internally.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits. I wish I had more, but I do not. The excellent benefits is the only perk! Good 401k. Nice banking options.

      Cons

      Management is in a transition process with unclear communication to staff. The on boarding process was sloppy. Employee roles are unclear and inconsistent for identical jobs. The mortgage division is new, unmanaged, and a diabolical.

      Pros

      - Decent benefits. Vacation ranges between 2-4 weeks and all VPs and above start at 4 weeks.

      Cons

      - Unstable - Poor management, extreme micro mangers, senior level employees treated as entry level - Women do not tend to be considered for senior management positions or are chased out of them - Lack of direction and constant change without benefit - No matter what your former experience, it does not matter and is not valued - A lot of good people have left and even more are seeking to leave all across the bank - Women do receive less pay than men - People generally are stressed and unhappy, even in senior levels - Compensation is low compared to other mid tier banks
