BOK Financial Response

Thank you for providing us feedback. We appreciate your candor and strive to promote a positive working environment for all employees. At BOK Financial, we do what we can in order to help people maintain a work-life balance with an effort to help them accomplish their goals and meet multiple life demands. We recognize different jobs within the organization have different responsibilities and with that, we have a varying approach to work arrangements. While there is not a 100% work-from-home approach, there is a great number of employees within the organization with a hybrid work arrangement, based upon the roles. If you would like further assistance in addressing these concerns, please reach out to your HR team or your direct manager.

Pros

-encouraged to change what doesn’t work -ability to lead and drive results without being micromanaged -focuses on employee engagement, internal mobility, and 100% supports cross training and branching out to other areas of interest -SVPs and ELTs walk the walk with us. They walk the hallways, put together fun events, and get to know us by name. New CIO is leading change like the company has never seen. He is an employees type leader and very respected. - as an employee , no matter what the role is, you have a voice and are empowers to make decisions.

Cons

-behind the scene structural changes and org changes with no knowledge it’s coming . Positions are decided with no job postings which misses opportunity for others to be interviewed -like any company the politics is there. Constant push back from those who have been with the company for 20 plus years and don’t want change. They typically know how to navigate the red tape and have friends in all corners to support them. Must be strong willed to take on the old outdated ways and push the new innovative methods - HR department is known to let employees go without reason being given to the employee. Employees don’t get to speak during the process and don’t get the benefit of doubt. - Security has been known to overstep their boundaries and authority by making house visits to the personal residence of staff when HR wants to speak to them.
