Not the Company For You If You Are Administrative

Pros

Work with some renowned clients. The work in general is rewarding.

Cons

There are not any professional development opportunities available outside of your normal basic training for some Microsoft programs. There is not any sort of performance matrix so when the time comes for your evaluation you're at the disposal of interpretation from supervisors. They "run lean" on administrative employees. Choosing favorites and picking sides is rampant in some offices. Administrative employees are not treated fairly and not represented regarding bonuses and salary increases.

Pros

Without a doubt the best part of working at BRG is the people. That may sound cliched, but it is true here. Everyone is exceptionally smart, motivated, and a generally pleasant person to be around. You will never have as wonderful coworkers as you will at BRG. I was very satisfied with my compensation at BRG. The starting salary was high and annual increases always outpaced inflation. Benefits as a whole are satisfactory. Retirement benefits are very impressive. Cases are usually well-managed. The office as a whole is VERY well-run - there's remarkably little bureaucracy to go through to get things done. Problems involving reimbursements and time entry (the one common gripe) have been addressed and are much smoother now. When on cases, you'll always feel like you're contributing significantly to the end goal. No one's time is wasted, and it's nice to have a job where you're producing a tangible product for the client.

Cons

As expected, the one large downside of working here is the unpredictability of hours. There are some employees who work all the time, but most work around 45-50 hours a week, which is reasonable (and overtime work is the primary factor in annual bonuses). The problem is that it is totally unpredictable when those hours will fall.
