Toxic Environment

Pros

You get experience, which can help you later on. Some managers are great (few and far between though).

Cons

Please read all of the reviews before signing onto this company. There is zero work life balance. If you use vacation days you can expect to work. Some of the managers at the company boarderline harassment. No one is will to teach at this company but you are expected to know everything. This environment breeds toxicity. There are some great people lower down but most talk about quitting a lot. There is almost zero diversity at this company also. The compensation is not worth the amount of work you will do.

Pros

Do your research on which practice group you will work for and who you will work with before you join. There are some wonderfully skilled experts but there are serious HR issues. It’s competitive and can be fast paced.

Cons

It’s churning talent and not for everyone. Plus, they only give lip service to diversity.

Toxic Workplace, Ignorant Management

Pros

The compensation is good relative to the rest of the industry. If you're doing well and making the company money, they'll leave you alone and you can pretty much never come into the office.

Cons

The culture is depressingly toxic and management seems to choose to ignore it or even support it. Example: an MD threw a keyboard at his secretary and he's still here -- the secretary isn't. The other comments on here that there is no collegiality are 100% accurate. The administrative functions like marketing, IT, and accounting are also borderline incompetent so expect to do everything yourself.
