Pros

The location is great and the people are very down to earth. The company values communication with its staff and the is a decent work social environment. They company is pretty laid back and managers are understanding.

Cons

Old hat! These guys produce products that the market doesn't need, they are far from cutting edge. The pay is a minimal and the constant talk of change just echoes on and on but never transpires

Pros

Good benefits. Loyal employees. Great name.

Cons

President of the company hires and keeps only yes men. It's the good old boys club. Verbal harassment is common and tolerated. On board training may take place from day to 5 months after hire. Entropy (technology) is undesirable and taking down the company revenue. High turn over in the sales division. It is common place that solution selling is a moving target. No one knows how to sell or market Entropy software.

BSI Response

Thank you for your feedback. BSI has tripled in size over the last seven years under the direction of the current Americas President. The executive team is a stable group comprised of both men and women. Much of this executive team has significant management experience outside BSI and within BSI. Due to the growth of the BSI core business, a Chief Operating Officer position was recently added to the organization. Entropy development has been repositioned in the past 18 months which has resulted in increased sales and customer satisfaction. Sales targets adjust annually based on market trends, territory conditions and product development. Sales training and employee onboarding are two key areas of focus for BSI.

Pros

Really supportive and caring company. BSI colleagues are passionate about what they do and it's an exciting company to work for. London office looks tired and old fashioned but will be amazing once redevelopment work is finished.

Cons

Can be quite complex to understand at first. Senior management are keen to support change and things are moving in the right direction.
