      I have audited hundreds of organisations with BSI and would not leave BSI for any of them!

      Pros

      Tremendous variety in that you are auditing different organisations and standards every day. It is a privileged role which is well respected. There are always new challenges and opportunities for you to develop.The rewards are good and the people exceptional. If you enjoy travel and helping organisations to improve, this is for you.

      Cons

      The customer demands and expectations are ever increasing putting pressure on home / worklife balance. A lot of the work is done alone so you really need to be self motivated.

      Pros

      Great building, free car park, work environment is great, plenty of desk space. Salaries are competitive, external training given if required.

      Cons

      Most of the time you don't know what other departments are doing, i.e. there could be a role in a new department but you may never find out about it

      Pros

      A very good team-focussed working environment, coupled with impressive benefits and higher-than-average pay. Their Milton Keynes HQ is a very nice place to work with impressive facilities.

      Cons

      BSi is hampered by it's own internal procedures and processes that make doing your job sometimes very, very difficult. Work output is also very heavily monitored and the review / improvement process is also extremely overbearing and sometimes unnecessary.
