In Latam and Southern Europe, career progression is incredibly slow. Any Big4 is far better in this! It will basically depend of the projects you get assigned to, and that's a very biased process. Besides, in Mexico there's a huge skill gap between senior managers and consultants. You would expect that a "self-called" consulting firm would have top notch senior managers, but no. Most don't have financial literacy, excel skills or even a decent command of english... This wildly contrasts with junior consultants which come from the best business schools and universities. This is a firm focused on Learning & Development. Period! Forget "Strategy", this is a word repeated too often to fool clients and employees. You will be teached the basics on finance and that's what you'll ever need. If you come from a business background, the job may not be fullfilling. However if you come from a Psychology background, it can be interesting. Your main client stakeholder will always be HR people... and that basically says it all...
