- High performance management team with many years of leadership, business and process experience within government and commercial environments. - Open door management approach - Aggressive business development objectives that pursue both government and commercial opportunities. - Motivated workforce with diverse skill sets - Competitive benefits package

Cons

- Some initial growing pains within HR but those issues are ironed out.

At BTS we are all just people and we try and create flat communication channels as much as possible to make sure everyone's voices are heard, growing this company is a team effort and we value everyone's input. We are also glad that our people recognize that we try and go the extra mile with our benefits package. We know there were some HR speedbumps, but we now have a great team in place and are putting systems in place to make 2018 a great year capable of handling a lot of growth. You keep doing it too!

Perfect as a stepping stone for your career

Pros

- Engaging problems to solve, and complete flexibility on how to tackle them. - Lives up to its motto of having an startup approach, with the security of an established company. - Only good experiences with management so far, and a lot of flexibility and trust is put on employees, which really helps keep you motivated and committed.

Cons

- Salary is slightly below average, but the really good treatment of employees and the tremendous learning opportunities make up for it.

We try hard to foster a corporate culture that is more Google and Less (insert large, stuffy, formal, corporate type environment company here), and this is sometimes hard in our industry. Defense contracts are not usually know for their approach to innovation, so we are glad we have customers like DARPA that value our approach. We will make sure we continue to pursue additional work that allows you to grow your skills and expand your experience.

A Company Gaining Steam

Pros

Having had been with this company through its ebbs and flows, this is a very exciting time to be on-board. They have worked hard to create a flexible and creative workplace environment with a very generous benefits package. Another interesting aspect of BTS is that for such a small company they have a very unique blend of qualifications. Most companies their size are only able to focus on providing services, but BTS has managed to dive into innovative research projects/products as well.

Cons

As a small company I see the management team get stretched too thin which can often make it feel like some things take longer to get done than they should. One byproduct of this would be formal communications to the work force not being as frequent as is desired.
