Bachem reviews

Let me start by saying I've worked for a number of companies in my 10+ years. Some good, some bad. But Bachem, despite it's minor flaws is the best I've worked for in a decade. Here are some pros 1) Cares about employees. - The management here genuinely cares about their people. I don't feel like I'm just a number. It's more a family atmosphere here, and in this industry, that's almost unheard of. 2) Benefits - The benefits here are amazing, especially compared to what I had prior. 3) Environment - Even when the company is busy, you don't feel like you are working for nothing. You feel like you are helping the company achieve a goal, and you are generally rewarded when there is highs at the company. Plus the company regularly has events to keep morale up and have the employees bond. That wasn't even a thought at the last two companies I worked for.

After getting an interview offer from Bachem in Torrance, I checked them out online, specially through glassdoor.com. The reviews for this facility were mostly negative, but I didn’t want the negative reviews to deter my opportunity of employment since everyone’s experience with anything can be different, and what is good for one may not be for another. That being said, I took the leap of faith and went through with the whole interview process with the company. Fast forward till today, I have been employed at this Torrance facility for about 6 months now. I’ve worked at a number of companies prior to Bachem, and I have to say that by far, this has been the upmost positive working experience. The main reasons why I rate this company a 10 out of 10 is due to their management and leadership. Everyone here treats each other like one big family, and the typical corporate politics is little to none. Everyone wants to see each other excel to ultimately improve team cohesion and working conditions. I always thought working for big corporations would be the same, and didn’t know how much I would like working for a company up until now. Simply put, great company, leadership and management.
