Pros
Backbase is for the problem solver, ambitious, go getter personality. If you are a moaner or are lazy or not willing to accept that with growing and learning comes mistakes and sometimes chaos, then this culture / atmosphere may not be the place for you. It's vibrant, and hectic and can feel chaotic at times but from management go down there are people willing to listen and not give up in striving and improving. Not everyone understands how difficult this can be when a company grows as fast as Backbase has done in the past 2 years. - most people are direct and open - management are willing to discuss problems openly and find solutions together - lots of ongoing improvements especially between PS and RnD department - RnD have improved significantly in the past 6 months and are on the right path - there is a genuine attempt to be as upfront and honest with customers as much as possible - support for juggling family life - opportunities to move up or across are there, you just have to grab it
