Backbase has around 35 different nationalities in the same office, therefore there is a lot of respect, diversity and opportunity to learn and do things in a different way. The open office makes the experience with managers and directors very horizontal - You're able to reach anyone at anytime. Also in my team, we're encourage to participate in conferences and events abroad (as attendees or speakers) with paid expenses by the company. Oh... We have free beer at the office on Friday!

Cons

Even though it's a multi cultural environment they only offer dutch lunch option (sandwiches and salad). If you're used to eating a hot meal it's difficult to adapt and you end up having to eat out.
