Pros

Teamwork type environment where everyone has a support system whether you have any questions, need any help, or would like to voice concerns.

Cons

The demanding responsibilities and the hours compared to the benefits don't really align. If you love what you do and have a purpose for being there, it will be worth while. Of course there is always that chance of dealing with difficult students and situations, you just have to know how to handle and resolve them.
