Employees create a close community, work hard, support each other and are some of the brightest individuals around for the most part.

Cons

Business development employees have no clue what they are doing. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. More and more VP's are instituted even as business falls off and support positions are cut.

Under the leadership of former President and CEO Dave Taylor, this was the employer of choice in the industry. It was employee focused, and focused on scientific breakthroughs. Unfortunately, all good things must end....

Cons

-This company has been run into the ground under its new executive leadership. -No major contracts have been won under this new regime (it has been years) -As a result, layoffs and an environment of fear are the new normal -The HR department cannot be trusted - employees have no where to go to report issues or abuse -A culture that was once focused on employees and scientific breakthroughs has now become only about money - money they don't have because no one wants to work with them or award them contracts anymore

Immature organization (SCM) Inconsistent communication Inconsistent workload distribution - some people are bombarded with work while others talk about their trips to Disneyland all day long and claim they are swamped. No accountability Many unskilled people in roles they are not qualified for. Anti change culture
