Pros

It is a job if you could call it that

Cons

Ballad health is terrible the pay is a joke. Rns make $16/hr and Lpns make 13.25. Took away Critical care pay. This is a monopoly. New hires required to work overtime. Equipment barely works. Staffing is a nightmare and honestly unsafe! Get out while you can and take your license with you cause if you stay you might as well sign it back over to the state

Pros

You can feel like you are helping others that are sick or hurt.

Cons

The pay rate and pay increases are a joke. The benefits are standard. We are very understaffed, everyone hired keeps quitting soon afterward because of pay and workload. The facility I’m at is dated and depressing. Equipment that we work with is broken and the company will not spend the money to replace it.

Pros

Good health benefits. Decent vacation, if you can take it.

Cons

Low pay, low support staff, high pt ratios, lots of pulling to other units due to extreme staff shortage. Stingy on supplies
