Misogyny at it’s finest.

Pros

Brand is at least somewhat recognizable on your resume.

Cons

The most misogynistic company I’ve ever worked for. Micromanaging at ridiculous levels. No room for development. Bad stereotype of a bunch of men sitting around talking about the problem but no one wanting to be the person to stick their neck out to do anything about it. Treat the women no matter the title like assistants.

Dear reviewer, I would like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to leave your honest thoughts. As Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Bally’s, I wanted to reach out to you personally regarding your experiences within the company. I truly believe that the commitment to nurture a respectful environment exists at all levels of the company. Biased behaviour towards any of our employees has no place within our organisation, and I wish to assure you that this sentiment is held not only by myself, but by all members of our board and senior leadership. With that in mind, I would deeply appreciate it if you would reach out to me directly on twiley@ballys.com to discuss your experiences. Your feedback is an invaluable asset as we continue to nurture an open and respectful working environment. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I hope to be able to connect with you in the near future. Best regards, Tracey Wiley Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Pros

Snacks in the office, friendly and engaging team, PTO, health insurance, nice office

Cons

the workload is intense. ballys doesn't seem to anticipate basic customer needs before expanding or laying off entire divisions leading to frustration from customers who feel ripped off or ignored and the employees who are just trying to assist people in a meaningful way.

Thank you so much for your review, every bit of feedback helps us to make Bally’s Interactive a better place to work. The desire to assist people in a meaningful way is a perfect example of one of our Bally’s DNA: You Make the Difference! We know that our teams put a lot of care into their work, and we want to create the kind of environment that rewards that passion. While the changes we experienced during the early months of 2023 were challenging for many employees, we are confident in the company’s ability to learn and evolve. There are endless opportunities for our company culture and working experience to grow into something truly special, and we are committed to fostering that growth. Feedback like yours is a great way to have your say in how we focus these efforts in the future. Regardless of position or location, we encourage our teams to reach out if they are in need of assistance. Workload difficulties should always be raised with your line manager in order to assess resourcing needs for the team in the coming months. Finally, we invite you to share your feedback with our HR leadership team on feedback@ballys.com if you have any thoughts that you would like to bring to their attention.

Pros

If you love gambling and/or sports you'll at least be in a field you enjoy. Otherwise, can't imagine why else to work here.

Cons

I've worked in both both large scale corporations and small start ups, and this is the most poorly organized and mismanaged company I've experienced. Total lack of leadership or true decision makers BUT plenty of egos and tons of micro-managing. Not to mention the hours are crazy and the pay is poor. Oh and forget about seeing much, if any, diversity and no women in any upper management. Overall, the company feels very old and out of touch.
