Pros

I learned a lot from my superiors working there. I still use the skills and techniques they taught me to this day in my current job. They were very kind to me and always acknowledged and recognized proper work-life balance.

Cons

Back and forth communication with the team at Manila somewhat gets mixed up.

Pros

Salary, great culture, kindest colleagues, work from home, HMO is 700k, management transparency, considerate, inclusive, caring, genuine, sincere, grateful to be working for this company. They encourage you to take a break and rest, and you can feel the sincerity.

Cons

No serious cons that I can think of because there is no such thing as a perfect company.

Pros

The recruitment process was easy and efficient.

Cons

I joined Balsam Brands with high hopes, but my experience has been disappointing. The company's low pay is a significant issue, and their attempt to compensate with perks like free food, gift deliveries, webinars fall short of addressing the financial strain. Additionally, the workload, especially during the seasonal peaks, is unreasonable, leading to stress and burnout among employees. Not to mention all the games or contests especially during season, which honestly is just annoying with all the notifications. If they truly cared for us, they could have just freely given these gifts instead of raffling them off. They just add more stress by having us think what to answer, or what to post in these unmeaningful contests. Balsam Brands promotes a work-from-home culture, yet there are numerous on-site meetings that could easily be conducted online, creating unnecessary inconvenience for remote workers. Furthermore, the company's approach to layoffs appears arbitrary and unreasonable, causing instability and fear among employees. Another is the lack of care for contractors. They are treated as expendable resources, I see no empathy towards them. Overall, the company's policies and practices demonstrate a lack of empathy and respect for its workforce, making it a challenging environment to thrive in.
