Ability to make a difference. Big challenges. Lofty goals. Really great collection of people to work with. CEO has a strong sense of direction and an excellent ability to articulate that future state to multiple stakeholders, from employees to investors.
I never thought seriously about small businesses until coming to Bambee, nor did I realize how few of them have any help with HR and who risk their livelihoods as well as that of their employees by lacking the resources to navigate a super-complex world of compliance management.
When I found Bambee, I found not just an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those small business owners, but the ability to carve out a whole new space in the market that never previously existed (and certainly not for this price point!).
In creating this new reality, there are more challenges than I can list, all of which are hard, daunting, have no clear answers, and require all of us to dig deep every day to solve them. This is exactly what the team at Bambee excels at.
I am so very fortunate to have ended up someplace where I am genuinely challenged every day, multiple times a time, in making this dream come to life. I love challenge, and I've found Bambee in particular to be a very fresh breath of air compared to my largely corporate background.
This set of challenges would be impossible to achieve without having a smart team around me to rely on. Allan has done a really solid job assembling the people around him to form the core of a team that are wired for challenge, to question, to challenge, to grind, and ultimately to thrive.
It is not an easy place to work, given the pace, and we're not for everyone. But if you're someone who thrives on challenge, wants to make a big impact, AND will grind away at every wall that's thrown in front of you, you should definitely consider Bambee!
