We're good, but we can do better.

Pros

Very flexible. Work life balance is definitely a priority with Bandwidth - you will never find yourself having to justify why you need to work from home or take PTO (within reason). Benefits are a huge plus for people with families. I love the personal feel of the company - it truly is like coming home to a second family.

Cons

Currently going through what I would term 'growing pains'. Policies are inconsistent and enforced capriciously at times. Getting personal feedback on work development is difficult. Company touts itself as not political, but is VERY political. If you aren't in the right position at the right time and known to the right people, advancing can be extremely difficult.

Pros

David Morken, CEO, truly cares and is phenomenal person with a great vision. People in the HR team do listen The company does promote work/life balance Hour and a half lunches to work out - unfortunately this leads to timing issues in the LNP team that management does not address. All other departments have been a dream to work with - that's where Bandwidth's real power lies.

Cons

Very inexperienced management. Will not allow overtime, despite saying they will and has tried not to pay the team till people had complained but only when they grouped up. No accountability for people who do not work, and in multiple cases have gotten promoted. Management will openly call out people by name and say they will not have good recommendations after they've left in meetings. Management will promote "friends" despite poor work. They pay women lowest in the Order Analyst position despite degree or years of work experience of a team of 20. Very political environment. Brown nosing will get you far. Not your work.
