Pros

The health insurance was ok and my manager seemed to care about us.

Cons

The technology is slow to improve so things are done in a slow and outdated fashion without great documentation. The company lost people (rightfully) left and right leaving gaps in knowledge. The worst part was David Morken, the CEO, and his terrible decisions and comments that negatively affected everyone. Like when he forced people back into the office during the height of the pandemic, despite knowing that performance hadn't lowered and the employees didn't feel comfortable coming in. Or when he would have his AMA's and would openly state that he didn't care if you left or not (but also said it broke his heart earlier). And said to "suck it up" when people talked about inflation. Every AMA he held had concerned employees asking reasonable questions and always heard back a terrible response from David Morken. I cannot recommend anyone work here.

Pros

Good people, good benefits, good work life balance

Cons

Return to 5 days a week is clearly a way for the company to get a ton of people to quit without doing layoffs. There is no other explanation, developers are leaving in droves, hiring people to replace them is going to be a nightmare with such a strict in office schedule

Asking Bandmates back to the office is in no way a strategy to do what has been outlined above. We are betting our future on the power of presence even as others maintain the status quo. We understand that we may be a unicorn at this moment in time, and we are okay with that. We believe presence is powerful and the growth of people and vitality of ideas and innovation that comes from being in-person is as important to us as productivity.
