Pros

Some of the employees make the job enjoyable, and you’ve built good relationships with them.

Cons

Important feedback from employees is often ignored, leading to ongoing issues that could easily be resolved. Rules and expectations are not applied equally, with some employees getting away with things that others would be reprimanded for.

Pros

Great first Helpdesk experience Amazing manager Solid Team Combined PTO is about 20(ish) days front-loaded at the start of the year Bank Holidays Assistance in paying for study materials for certifications like CompTIA

Cons

Pay is well below the state average Usually understaffed, leading to being overworked If you are based anywhere other than HQ in Little Rock, the opportunity to move into a more advanced technology role is slim to none. I was offered a better role and had to deny it because I wasn't willing to move to Little Rock to be in HQ 3 days a week. They killed the WFH policy. When I started, it was 1 day in office. A year later, it was increased to 2 days in office, and now it's 4 days in office. The reason not being performance, but for the "culture" (lol). But there are still fully virtual employees all around the country and those even in AR who get to keep their privileges. The chief of our department told us "If you don't like the policy, find a new one to follow," so that's exactly what I did. 1-2 days in office made the abysmal pay worth it, but it no longer is.
