      Pros

      The Commission is very rewarding if the employee is willing to dedicate themselves to the process. Sales training is regular and mentors are willing if you're willing to learn and grow. Top earners in the company make very good money. And residuals really pay off if you've done your dues.

      Cons

      The field of retirement planning/ Medicare/ life insurance is very competitive, and just as in any sales job you will face rejection and frustration however those who learn and tend to do well.

      Pros

      Good environment, opportunity to grow and learn. Truly the work put in pays off. The clients are so great and I have met some wonderful people thanks to this position.

      Cons

      Can be intimidating to make lots of phone calls.

      Pros

      Ability to work remotely, Some schedule flexibility since you set your own appointments, encouraging leaders with structured educational meetings, they provide the leads, Nice onboarding referral and bonus programs. Get to meet new people and explore different areas.

      Cons

      Agents aren’t Salary. When people cancel policies you loose the commission. You may have to be full-time only. Putting miles on your vehicle to drive to appointments. As an insurance agent It may take longer than desired before you can start making money consistently.
