All in all, not a bad place to be.

Pros

Banner still has the feeling of being a small bank. The large majority of customer issues are able to be resolved in the branch and you know you have the support of management to make the decisions.

Cons

Banner has been taking way a number of incentives and overall morale has lower over the last few years. Promotions and raises are given to those with 'experience' and not to those who show drive or initiative to pull more than their share of work. More and more focus is made on meeting referral goals.

Cons

Difficult to act on management's suggestions as one's ability to influence the direction they point you is limited.

Pros

Banner Bank has great benefits and the hours are okay. If you can sell products the incentive pay is great.

Cons

- Management does not treat each employee the same. - The hourly pay is horrible. - The gossip in this place is unbelievable, one thing can make it too another branch in a matter of minutes. - Good luck getting ahead in this place without kissing some serious butt.
